Way to give yourself the ability to change zone volume when the dev doesnt allow it?

    Hi

Some libraries I have allow access to the mapping editor, but changing the zone volume does not work. I guess the patches are scripted that way for some reason.

Is there a way around this? Maybe by adding a script in an empty slot?

    Thanks!

Are you absolutely sure you're adjusting the right zone's volume, that perhaps the zone you really want to adjust might be in a different, potentially hidden group?

If script has relative change_tune() adjustments, zone tunings are void.

    Yes, absolutely sure.

That's good to know - but I am not after tuning... I am trying to change the level.

    Thanks!

Same thing is valid for zone volume and pan.

Right. So, is there any way to override this?

Nope unless you completely override the script, which is something I suspect you don't really want to do.

It's very easy to get this wrong. No doubt you have seen the progress line move across in the wave editor as you played a note triggering the zone you're looking at.

No - do not want to do that. Why must developers do this???

I am 100% sure I have this right. For a few reasons. Thanks.
