    Hello,

I am new to Reaktor. What two or three objects could I put together so that I can create a numeric readout on my instrument that will display midi values? For example, if I hit middle C, I'd like it to say "40" or whatever.

    Thanks.

The most basic way to do it would be a note pitch (midi input) into a numeric readout (panel)

also, check out the MIDI monitor macro and instruments. both are really useful while building/debugging.

Thus the nature of my problem...that doesn't do anything.

Most likely you have the note pitch module set to polyphonic (yellow square on the module), the numeric readout can only display a monophonic (orange square) signal.

Either set the note pitch module to monophonic, or you can place an "Event V.C All" (under Auxillary modules) after it.

If that's not the issue include a picture or example ENS.
