the users of Maschine would like for the Moderators to make a thread where the issues that we are having with Maschine can be resolved by the Moderators "those who know the in's and out's of Maschine" an posted exclusively in the tread. no replys from the Users just the issue and how to resolve it. so we will not have to search through the hundreds of threads created to maybe or maybe not find the one issue that we are having while we are creating. it would be extremely helpful to the User if the Moderators where to do this!
the way to do this is go threw the treads find an issue post the issue in your moderators only thread with your forsure detailed answer on how to resolve it.

    thanks for all your help.

sort of a Beginners FAQ - that would really help, as the amount of threads with questions that have been answered over and over again rises daily.

sorry, but i don't like this idea.

firstly, we are fostering a Maschine Community here where there is no hierarchy. the ideas is that everybody shares their knowledge.

secondly, there are some users who use Maschine more on a day to day basis than i do, and as a result i would suspect they know more than i do about Maschine.

you can start a "beginners FAQ", but please don't expect the answers to only come from the Moderators.

of course! if it wasn't for everybody here i wouldn't have gotten as far as i am with maschine right now, so i support the threads but there is no information better then the information coming strait from the horses mouth thats all im really saying, and they will support the previous threads that have posted great info by adding it to there thread saving them the time of saying what has already been said. when your working with maschine im sure you could use instant information when the problem arrises, people will still post good info, but they will post greater info if the native instruments team was to do this thread.

The point is- Phil and I don't work for NI. While we might have some of the answers, we definitely don't have all or even most of them. We learn as much from the forums as you people do =)

And, where are Phil and I supposed to find the time to go sorting through all the threads?

i dont mind helping people out when i know how to solve the issue,

    But

People should read the manual before even posting questions as 70% of the stuff asked can be found in the manual.

So true. When I first got Maschine the first thing I did was crack open the manual (though the product only ships with a hard copy of the quickstart which was meh, imo). Its fairly straight forward and to the point unlike some of the other manuals that Ni has done (Reaktor and FM8 come to mind).

It would also help if people use the search function or at least take a quick look through the forums before starting a thread to see if their issue/what have you's been asked.

This. All it takes is to open the pdf and search for the term. Or google it/search the forums. All that will probably be quicker than posting in the forum and waiting for a reply. If i didn't do this when i encountered a problem there would be a lot more posts from me lol.

Oops just saw ews post. Just use your noggin eh? ;)

i think some are disappointed with my thought on this subject. i have read the maschine manuel and i have read the pdf version of maschine hardware quick reference i also printed it out and have it next to maschine. and then i came to the conclusion that we should have the thread mentioned a quick reference thread done by the mods, it would not hurt one bit for us to have the thread, it would only help us in our advancement in using maschine.

Eric and myself are not paid by NI to Moderate this forum, we do it when we have a spare moment.... and both of us also Moderate other NI Forums.

basically, i don't time to answer a thread that purely for Moderators to answer.

i am really happy - and grateful - when users share their expertise with other users.

if you have specific question the ask - and at the same time do a search to see if the topic has already been asked. hopefully questions will be answered by other users who know the answer or maybe use Moderators during the spare moments when we come on the forum.

so basically what i am saying is that there will not be a thread that is done by the mods because Eric and myself do not have the time to do that.

If you cant find what your looking for in the manual or need more explanation try the forum search feature to see if its been covered ,i check other forums too usually through google ,if that all fails then i'll post .
