We Need Maschine Support

Hello. I am very very interested in 'Maschine' but are struggling to find any help with the many questions i have about it. I have checked the forums and emailed NI but unfortunately had no help.
I think we should have a 'Maschine' section on the foum as you have for many of your other products.

Just ordered...

I just ordered one from Sweetwater who indicate they should be receiving them on Feb 8th and shipping same or next day.

Since there is almost no information from end user experiences, I am setting up a website exclusively for NI Maschine users. I registered ghostinthemaschine.com for this purpose and will be setting up the framework for forums, featured users, tutorials, etc in the next week.

I'll walk through the software installation, integration with Live, and MIDI implementation to start and go from there. If your questions are not answered by the time this is done, I will test and provide results.

I will also be detailing integration with the new V2 Lemur so folks who are taking advantage of the promotional pricing can get up and running quickly.

I'm excited to get hands on with this device and look forward to performing feats of amazing techno wizardry (or drum and bass wizardry in my case).

I think they're pulling your leg. The release date isn't until March...

And, even if they aren't, you'll be getting an incomplete product. The software side's undergone substantial improvements since the DVD was sent to the duplicating house, and the maintenance update (Maschine 1.0.1) won't be available until the official release date.

I guess it would be inline with folks who typically have higher prices than everyone else to try and sell harder too.

I had a rep from Sweetwater call me today and tell me that they received my order and they should be receiving a shipment during the week of Feb the 8th.

It wouldn't bother me to get one early and have to update software. I'll have more time to map out content if it is later.

Of course Live 8 won't be around for a bit either and Max for Live requires Live 8. I won't be able to have videos and tutorials using the combination until those are available either.

Lol...it looks like they (sweetwater) are scripting or updating to boost sales. Go go expensive retailer! At least the price is the same everywhere and it looks to be well worth it.

Yeah. I like Sweetwater and probably will order Maschine from them but I'm pretty sure they lying through their teeth if they say it will ship on the week of 2/15. Though if they actually do I wouldn't mind having to update later if it means I can get my hands on that sweet piece of luscious hardware. Look at it, looking all sexy like that in the pictures.
