All in title. We need a new mapping for TP2.

We need one to trigger the samples decks.

Yeah I got 2 X1's and when I set up 2 sample decks on C & D and all the transport section of the X1 don't do nothing...... Will there be a TSI file soon?

 

Totally. We need mappings for these f'n hot sample decks... was disappointed when they didn't pop on install...

jsut downloaded Traktor Scratch Pro 2 update and very excited about the opportunity to use sample decks. I'mn thinking of getting my second X1's for that as well

But as i understand from these thread, the second X2 wont automatically be ready to trigger samples?

Do i really have to edit a custom mapping and enter midi-mode on my second X1?

would be a real bummer..... using sample decks should be seamless with X1 without any need to use keyboard and/or trackpad.

 

Yeah, dragging and dropping with the mouse to the sample decks suck. and then you still have no control. Weak..........NI

Has anyone tried the mapping Mistere Phobose pointed us towards? I remember when the video of Dennis Ferrer & Martinez Bros came out, it was said that NI would release a special mapping for the X1 & TSP2

 

Right but it mess up my older mapping i made in TSP1 :angry: .When i load this tsi file my mappings are gone? bummer

 

I am re-mapping my entire traktor (again) as i'm done i could share it, Has some pretty neat sample deck features, 4 deck features, 2 deck features all in one go and with easy switching inbetween the modes!

hmm its a shame that with this mapping you loose the ability to control the fx with the x1, would be good if you could switch between sample decks and normal control with a keyboard shortcut or something

 

i tried the added additional mapping and it seems to work well. indeed to use decks A and B normally (with timecode for example) and use X1 to control sample-decks with the added mapping from NI, one needs to have two controllers.

I'm gonna get one i think and hopefully they wont clash with each other.

 

And what prevents configure all the protocol "MIDI"?


I do not use function Hot Cue. All free buttons I've set up under "Sample decks"

I`ve got a Midi Mapping for the Sample Decks, works great so far with only one Controller. There`s still room to modifie, some Buttons aren`t in use yet. I`ll try to upload it to the users library soon.

i don't use any of the hot cue buttons on the bottom. so you're saying you've kept everything the same except the hotcue buttons on the bottom you mapped to the samplers?

Yes it is. Only I did not set Volume and Filter to "Sample Decks". Just nowhere. I've set up these functions on the iPad. Give me an email, I'll send you .tsi

 

how can you use traktor and NOT use hot cues? they are my best friends

 

So glad I read this before I go and buy the TP2 upgrade and an X1! I wanted to eventually get 2 X1's and use the two sample decks but it sucks if you have to drag & drop.
I really don't want to have to get an S4 as I think it'll be really intrusive in a DJ booth. I wanted to keep my equipment small and modular so I can set up around the preceeding DJ and adapt to the booth.

Maybe in Russia are not as steep DJs like you

 

You can use two x1-s, just load one with the included TSI template for sample decks
