mine jumps as soon as I move a fader ... can't see how to switch on any kind of soft takeover. Am I missing something?

Seems to be the same in 2.6. These fader jumps and filter jumps are spoilimg the whole F1 experience for me ... even having 2 of them doesn't solve the problem when switching modes.

The problem hasn't gone away. Despite this being a very obvious issue that prevents F1 actually being used as advertised, there is no response or acknowledgement from NI at all.

Can someone explain how to even switch between 2 remix decks without the mix jumping all over the place? NI markets F1 claiming this is possible and F1 is designed specifically for this function. So how is it done then? (or is it just bogus marketing hype?)

I bought this thing expecting to use it for just this purpose. Yet my 'highly advanced and sophisticated controller' can't perform this simple function.

We shouldn't have to contact NI support. This is a common issue with all F1s.

@NI ... we still have a problem with F1. It doesn't do what was explicitly claimed in all the promos and advertising. Please respond. (Keir?... anyone?)

Haha,, I returned the ****ing ****. Apparently I was the only one who's not been anything but over-happy with the thing. Oh well :p

Yeah the soft takeover is nonexistent but I seem to be happy with a mapping for track cues and isolation with delay(major tsi.) instead of remix decks on the other deck.
    Would have been nice though.
I am never happy with the out of box and always change something anyway.

Oh as well I finally mapped a good oneshot mode to my F1 that makes me quite happy with it.

I actually find myself trying to isolate and use the F1 in more of a breakstyle along with effects and cue points of tracks. So 2 or more remix decks really is of no use to me.

To switch remix sets I usually just use the loop recorder to grab a loop of it. Then set up my next remix set and fade it in or just start a couple new samples.
Actually I revert to the loop recorder quite often it is an easy way to keep volumes correct and mix combinations at the same time.

Sorry this does not help the problem of soft takeover but hopefully can give people an idea of workflow to achieve what they want.

I'm very disappointed with NI. How whey can miss such important thing? But I'm even more disappointed that no official representative want to explain the situation and tell us what NI is planing to do.
