"Wear Leveling" OLED Displays on KK Series?

    Hello all,

The display on my (relatively new) M32 is showing burn-in from the standard message (i.e., "Template 1 Midi Mode") displayed when the controller is powered on but not in use. I missed that the display was an OLED, kept the M32 plugged in, and didn't notice until too late that the message was being burned in.

However, the burn-in is really only a problem when the other pixels are lit (because of the contrast between the extra bright pixels and the dimmer burned-in ones). I don't really have a problem with the dimness of the pixels for the "Template 1 Midi Mode" otherwise, so I'd like to level the wear on the OLEDs to make the screen more readable. Does anyone know of a way to do this?

One simple solution would be to display the negative of the standard (burned-in) message, but I'm not sure how to do this. Is there an easy way to display an arbitrary message on the OLED displays of KK devices?

Please let me know if you have any suggestions. Thanks!
