Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the original weedwacker file? sorry dont like the remodeled interface

Mine is coming up as an invalid file? is it compatible with R5 even?

I originally DL'd it from the NI site as it was supplied as an addition to Session and I can find the original DL link in the NI site.

    Thanks for any help

put weedbacker (yes weedbacker) in the search engine in the User Library. that is the original version.

great ensemble, probably still one of the most unique methods of synthesis ive seen in reaktor.

I'm interested in exploring synths that use feedback. I downloaded Weedwacker yesterday and it won't work; it produces no sound. I did find a modification of it, BG's unfortunately-named Bleedsplatter, that does produce sound for me, but the latter is no superficial change of the former; it has changed most of the ensemble. I can't tell which would be the better one to learn from. Is it worth my time trying to get Sigmar Kreie's original to work, or should I just stick to BG's?

(My apologies, BG, for not knowing your full name. Only your initials are in the credits and the user library's not letting me connect right now so I can't find out.)

Okay, I'll try both. I thought weedwacker was probably somehow better than weedwacker (perhaps minus the interface, which Circleofsmoke disliked, above) but eh. Thanks!

i think you should make up your own mind Weedbacker was the original and updated version (Weedwacker) was included with Reaktor 3's Premium Library. there are loads of snaps including some by Vladislav Delay.

fwiw, i prefer the updated version. the EG2 is great and there is more flexibility in that both Envelopes can loop.
