Weird K1 effect knobs problem

i got a brand new unit from the shop i bought it from

this one works PERFECTLY - no glitch no nothing!

funny all the writings on the box are all in japanese though, must be a japanese batch?

 

by the way this is called the "tea time" knob glitch (as per native instruments' email)
i wonder how many units are affected? looks like quite a few! Im pretty sure the newer batch are perfect though, native instruments are pretty TANK-ish in build

i bet most people dont even know its there (who would turn up all 8 fx knobs to max? hahaha)

I am experiencing the same issue with mine. :angry:

 

Two units and both are defective, called twice in two weeks and still nothing! No reply, no RA#.
It's bad enough that two brand new units is defective right out of the box, but the lack of customer service is just crap! I won't be doing business with NI ever again!

 

My brand new Kontrol x1 (one week old) is also defective!

I cannot understand why NI and big T are still selling their faulty units!

The problem is known since August, and now we have November!

The NI developers know very well that there is a faulty series out there! They are joking about the so-called "tea time" knob glitch (as per native instruments' email).

But NI does nothing to prevent their stupid customers to buy those faulty units!

 

This is happening to me also

I turn one knob and 2 fx parameters are turning. I thought it might of been a software issue till I saw this thread.

Guess I'll have to return mine also and get a new one.

 

Have also the same problem.

I have send a mail to the technical support and they already send a mail back with the possibility to send the Kontroller back for repairing it. At the moment, I'm waiting for a response to send my Kontroller X1 back.

I bought the Kontroller in August.

 

I just bought my controller this month and I don't have this problem. Maybe the problems been fixed with newer units.

 

Just got the replacement units, same thing, NFG!

Have to sent it back again! and it's no guarantee that the next two will be good. This is BS!

 

OMG ! my out-of-the-box KX1 has exactly the same behaviour (with effects knobs)
Shame on NI

 

I just got my replacement and can say I am having the same issue! All this after 2 months of waiting to get it back. This is BullSH!T!

try turn all your fx knobs to the right and then operate any knob. all knobs in traktor will start to jitter
