Right, so I make a custom ensemble, which consists of a few different ensembles and instruments... as soon as I either turn on auto-save, or manually save the ensemble, I lose automation completely, and can't learn any knobs and buttons in kore2. Automation does work in all the different instruments and ensembles right up until I go to save it. What's up with that? Reaktor confuses me a bit. I don't see anything changing in connect > automation or anywhere.

It's not as weird as you think, you have made a new ensemble once you have saved it but on the level of that ensemble it won't yet have automation set up. So you need to assign automation IDs to the params you want to control.

ah ok yes I understand I think, thanks... there's no way for reaktor to merge the many different automation mappings together on the top level...
on second thought, I think multiple instances of reaktor inside the .ksd will work better for me then. I was mostly trying to avoid clutter, but I can just hide them away in a koresound instead.
