First off, I'm having trouble understanding what makes a "scene" versus a "pattern." Also, I'm having trouble recording multiple parts. I have begun a basic rhythm and want to add a arpeggiated keyboard part, but every time I want to record the keyboard part looped with the drums it starts a completely new scene. It doesn't add the keyboard to the drum loop, it completely starts a new section that plays by it's self. I have to touch the drum pattern to play the drums, and have to touch the keyboard section to play the keyboard part...they won't play mixed or together. Even if I try adding the keyboard in the pattern I created it virtually erases the previously recorded rhythm and starts a new loop and I can't find a way to have this stop happening.

I'm not sure I'm going about starting my project the correct way, but I start "new," record my beginning 4 bar loop, then I add another loop (8 bars)and so on...the drums have been working together fine, but the issue begins when I attempt to add he arpeggiator.

Hope I'm making enough sense that y'all will be able to help me out and feel free to ask any questions needed to clarify.

    thanks for the views!

I think I was having a glitch with the app, because I ended up deleting the keyboard I was trying to use and starting new (same sound, but new keyboard) and the issue resolved. Now when I record over the loop I want to use it adds to the loop rather than creating a completely new/separate part that won't allow the desired loop to play. I'll let you know if anything similar to this happens again.
