    Yeah, wishful thinking.
It is a commercial product though. When there are bugs in my commercial software, I fix them.

    Hello Jan Ola,
I have looked at the Support page and don't see an obvious place to report it. Hardware Repair? No, that can't be it.
If I missed the obvious link, my apologies. I'm prone to missing things. (My eyes aren't good.)
Maybe a tab that says: "report possible bugs or issues" would help users to file such reports?
I'm happy to supply information in this case, as much as I can, though I am neither the finder nor the fixer of the bugs in question.
    Thanks,
    David

Hey, please go to Support, Music Production, Reaktor, Get Reaktor Support, you will be guided from there. Thanks.

OK, done. The bugs don't crash reaktor, but your wizard doesn't give the option of explaining how the bugs manifest themselves musically. I think you could add 'Other' to some categories to allow user to explain better.
    Thanks,

OK, you scoffers and eye-rollers. I said they read everything that we users post, and they did!
I just got confirmation that the bugs are indeed bugs and they have added WC CFG to the programmers' backlog.
    What's the opposite of eye-rolling? :p

I’ve been playing with Jan Ola’s Altair IV (mentioned by him earlier) and want to sing its praises to anyone who hasn’t become familiar with it yet.
Whatever ‘West Coast Synthesis’ means, there’s a lot of Donald Buchla in it.
Altair IV hits a lot of Buchla notes sublimely.
There’s the ‘swirling’ panning similar to WCS. And, in addition to the ‘Source of Uncertainty’ modeling, the deployment of the Kodiak Morph Filter renders a believable emulation of Buchla’s rightfully famous Triple Mutating Filter (291t).
The flow and processing of modulation signals is key, as he says. The resulting sound is consistently surprising and engaging.

As an owner of the full version of Reaktor, I decided to save Altair IV as an ensemble and play with it to develop snapshots that vary any given soundmood, but allow that mood to evolve, subtly and suggestively.

Bottom line: this rack or ensemble is a lot of fun. And quite educational as well.

Hats off and many thanks to Jan Ola!

Thanks for the kind words! Glad you find it educational, it was one of my main objectives with these Racks to cover a lot of ground in terms of patching technique and bring some of the more experimental and lesser known concepts to Blocks.

Is there anything like a West Coast (or Buchla) catalog of patches? I'm looking for something that shows a few different ways to make different kinds of sounds (screeching, roaring, wobbling, and clanging to more traditionally musical). I've looked over the manuals for Cloudlab (from the Reaktor User Library) and for the original Buchla modules. I'd like ideas of how to patch these functional units together.

My thanks back to you, for the creative programming (and the excellent documentation in your manuals too)!
I would like to mention here 2 more racks (not sure if they are yours or not) that have pushed me in educational technical ways: Gestural Melange and Drummer in Orbit. (Thank goodness I can save them as ensembles!)
It takes considerable thought to take apart the patching/sound flow, but eventually one starts to understand, gain some kind of control, at which point the sometimes radical nature of the possibilities available in Blocks emerges -- startling.
(I hope there will be more of these conceptual-racks in future.)
So indeed, the experimental side of Blocks has been treated very generously by NI both in engineering and sound design. More please! ;)

Cheers! I did all the Racks included in Blocks Base and Blocks Primes. The ones in the Soundscape and Percussion categories certainly use the most advanced concepts. I have been meaning to create additional content for these Racks, like patch notes, deeper dives, tutorials in either text or video. Never had the chance to do so, but it's still something I will consider if I find some time.

More kudos. You not only did a splendid job, you made all these advanced techniques accessible to people who might never have known they were possible. I'm hoping you can find the time to add to the Racks content, including explanations, videos, etc.
That you were a team of one is all the more impressive. (Ask for a raise?) ;)
