What are the differences between the 'EQ type' options in Traktor

    Currently set at 'NUO', but there are others such as P600/classic/Xone etc.

    Are these just emulation settings of their real-life counterparts?

    What do folks recommend for vocal/tech/deep house?

    Exactly.

    It's a taste thing.. Myself, I use a Xone hardware mixer but like to keep the classic mode EQ in Traktor.

    No recommendations, just try them all and see which ones you prefer, I'm diggin' the new Z typed eq and filter - it totally kills the sound when all eq's are down (dont think the others do this) and the filter is nice and smooth... But yeah, try them all out :)

    I use the Nuo as I have an Ecler Nuo 3. It is a pretty good emulation, but when the EQ is cut it doesn't remove the frequencies as much as the real thing does.
