what are your expectations for the update 2.5?

I expect a lot of people to be unnecessarily negative about the people being unnecessarily negative about 2.5. Mainly pesky musicians who don't make music complaining about the people not making music yet somehow are making music

 

i don't complain, I just say what I expect
And since this forum is pretty negative about Maschine, I think it is not strange to expect this.

I am happy to make a lot of music. I am also happy not to be pesky.
But I can understand sometimes it hurts to hear the truth

as someone who sometimes says negative things about Maschine, i am dropping a new album this coming tuesday where all the songs were made with Maschine (well, except, of course, the vocals and the guitars and the mixing). though i am sure if NI had developed the sequencer & song mode & DAW integration, it would've probably been released 2 months ago LOL

 

Expressing your personal opinions just enough to piss people off but still gaining respect from the community. Its a fine art that takes years to master.

Everytime when I read the posts of this thread I think NOW ist the time for the announcement / release of 2.5 or 3.0.
The fact that NI is communicate nothing is not the best way to hold their customers.
Last week I was @Musikmesse in Frankfurt. NI was´t there. Why? Is this the way to get new customers? There where a lot of interested people at AKAI, Pioneer, Roland.... and I´m sure some didn´t know about NI. IMO they all will buy stuff from other companies....

...there is definitely a cost/return of investment ratio for trade fairs and Musikmesse is quite expensive, AFAIK (I know a bit more about the "sister" fair Pro Light & Sound). NI decided at one point not to do trade shows anymore and it has been that way for quite a while. There isn't something new to show, as it seems, and you can try NI stuff at every music shop - so it wouldn't have made sense for NI to do Musikmesse, I guess...
