What computer are you using and any problems?

I'm interested in what kind of laptop people are using with their S2/S4 and whether you are having any problems. I've had a bit of skipping and popping but I just realized my computer is 1gb RAM. I am using a 6 year old Dell Inspiron 6400 and I have mentioned some of the problems earlier. I do use the optimizer thing that closes alot of unnecessary programs which has really helped.

I use my S4 with a Lenovo T400 (4gb Ram, 2.4Ghz, WIN7 32Bit) and a T420s(6GB RAM, i7 2,8Ghz, WIN7 64Bit).
Both Laptops are working perfect, without any optimizing.
Only the WIFI is Off when I work with Traktor.

i have a gateway nv55c,64bit win7 i-5-460m 2.6ghz processor 4gb memory 500gb harddrive , works great, got it on sale a year ago for $600Canadian

 

i use dell studio 17 with i7 8gb ram anf ati gpu. it works fine with it allthough i turn off wirless,antivirus and other programs that are not needed to make sur nothing goes wrong.

This thread is specific to S2/S4 users. If it upsets you so much don't read the thread. No one else has a problem with it.

your laptop does not meet minimum specifications so it is not surprising that you have issues.

you need a new machine..the faster the better

 

I dont think any amount of tweaking will get Traktor S4 running to any degree of success on 1GB RAM on that Dell dude.

Time to upgrade i think.
