What do i need to copy?

    i have to install new os so am backing stuff up.
    which files do i need to back up in maschine?
    is it just project files or something else as well.
    help greatly appreciated.

    Strictly concerning Maschine...here is what I would back up.

    -All the maschine project files, including any external samples you may have created. (the 1.5 beta allows you to consolidate all the sound files you used when you save out the beat to a single project folder)
    -If you customized your library, I would try to locate the library file, so that you don't have to do it again.
    -And of course any sound files/samples that did not come with maschine.

    There may be more that I don't know about, but that's really all I can think of.

    The only thing you really need to back up is your user content location.
    PC: My Documents\Native Instruments\Maschine
    Mac: Documents/Native Instruments/Maschine
