I noticed that so many of us have questions and requests that the forum can sound a little discontent. I too have brilliant ideas of how Maschine could be better, and I can't believe that the designers didn't include MY feature from the very start.
But, there are so many things about Maschine that I love, and I thought it would be fun to have a thread to remember why we bought Maschine in the first place. I sold all of my outboard gear to build a machine for Maschine and then buy Maschine. So, Maschine and I are now One. Yes, I am of Maschine.

I love the look of Maschine, the colors, the feel, the lights.
I love that Maschine finally gives me a reason to not hate my computer.
I love that Maschine is simple enough that I can actually get some work done.
I love that owning Maschine means that I am now on Team Maschine, and that I am of the Borg that is us.
I love finding new features that were there all along, but I didn't understand before. It's like finding out that your foxy girlfriend is a black belt .
I love how easy it is to edit samples now that "I get it".

I"ll shut it, and let you prattle on, if you like.

i love Maschine, because it has actually got me working on and finishing new tracks.

i love using the Maschine and Kore Controllers side by side at gigs.

i love using Maschine as a plugin inside Kore2, along with Massive, Battery and Reaktor. this setup just has so many possibilities for real-time performance, but also composition and sound design.

The thing i love most about Maschine is that its the King for live performances. Its so amazing to remix the own trax in step mode while performing a set. Also the FX are amazing, especially the distiortion  There are so many things i love about it, i dont even know where to start.

    Cheers

I love (and that's one of the main reasons I bought it) the fact that I can do music away from the computer, and I got rid of that click & drag workflow.

I love the fact that all the sounds are mastered and eq-ed. So if you're like me, a music aficionado, and not a mastering expert, you'll find it easy to mix and match different instruments and sounds.

I'm a graphic designer. And I love using beautiful things, and willing to forget about the bugs & stuff. For example my iPhone. It lacks a lot of features compared to Nokia or others, but it's a pleasure to use it.

That's the deal with Maschine to. It brings out the fun and joy of making music.
I love it, I won't sell it, although I was tempted, and I hope NI will not make it's early adopters regret !

Peace ! And ... let the inspiration flow !

I love the knobs! they actually feel really tactile and responsive even better than my novation remote sl imho! also i love the pads. (the controler is amazing as a whole (i still wonder if i would wanna give up the portability a lil for a tilt screen though? prolly not)
    I love the realtime tweaking!
I love the fact that this is exactly what I have been waiting to upgrade my mpc for (I considered the mv 8000/8800 but tried it and it felt to much like software but with out it's expansive oportunities, I tried the I looked into the 2500 (but it was to close to my xl) looked at the 4000 (buggy and didn't aide in integration witha daw) looked into the 5000 and it just didn't impress me especially for the price) the maschine integrates inside a daw yet still gives me that feeling that i am working with a piece of music gear not a computer made for spread sheets.
I LOVE THE PRICE POINT! i think that the price ($599 usd) is a great value. the controller alone I think could be marketed at the price point or very close to since it doesnt have the arpeggiator of the mpx 32.
I love the sound (the bit crusher feels a lil light though maybe the noise in it is just a lil to "white" and needs more "pink" but still is great)
I love the SWING! and the quantize 50% feature!
ok i could go on for quite sometime here... I'll pass off.

    hey sowari

do you have any videos of that setup in action
i'm interested in buying "komplete" but not quite convinced yet.
my "producer friends" advice me some other stuff
but i'm pretty sure maschine will eventualy outclass anything else on the market
and thats why i love it so much :p

I love the fact that it helped me effortlessly transition from hardware to software music production. Due to the illusion the controller gives the user. Of interest also is the way easy exporting features. I am expecting big things for this product line!

Definitely a good point and i know a lot of people (including me) who made the switch only because of Maschine. So all NI has to do now to make me completely happy, is to do the same with a bad ass synthesizer ;)

    Cheers

    a hardware synth?

cause komplete is a set of synthesizers to control with midi so any board will do
midi controler or keypad even can use maschine for that

    Hey Jeef,

no the idea is not a hardware synth. It should be the same concept like Maschine but with a bigger Controller then Kore2. But as i said, just a dream for now :)

    What I like about maschine....

    a) It's so simple to set up and use.
    b) Getting a groove going in no time is a piece of cake.
    c) Sampling is so straighforward it's incredible.
    d) It synchs so well with Cubase (my DAW of choice).

And I think I've only scratched the surface of it's capabilities.

    Steve.

Where to start? Everything about Maschine is amazing. I'm ten times more productive using Maschine than Abelton Live. The more I use it the more logical it becomes. I now do 98% of my sequencing in Maschine and now only use Live for minor editing and for a recording DAW. The quality of drum sounds and FX are excellent and probably don't get much better.

well this will work with the future 1.1 update.

in Kore2, you will (with the Maschine 1.1. update ) be able to send MIDI from Maschine (loaded a a plugin) to other plugins in Kore.

Funny how some of you couldn't resist telling us how Maschine could be better in the future.
I love how the export audio rips out a wav file in 10 or 15 secs. I can throw it up on sound cloud and I'm done.
I love the Scene mode now that "I get it"
I love thinking about how I don't NEED anything else right now, for once.

What it could be. That is what I love about Maschine. If NI takes this thing and keeps building on top of this thing it has the potential to become the best thing since beat slicing. Let's pray they can get out 1.1 early August.

Maschine is great! I'm 'lost in the flow'. Simplicity + Quality = Fun!

Looking forward to seeing NI continue to expand in this direction..
