Bought my speakers second hand and the guy I bought them from included them. They might be discontinued now but there are similar ones I have seen...

    Genelec 8000-406 or Genelec 8000-425B

    @fragmentated: beautiful setup!

I noticed a midi cable between the Mopho Keys and Maschine, how are you using it together. I have both also and can use Maschine as a sequencer for the mopho everything running in usb for the midi.

Nonetheless recording the pattern in an arrangement in Maschine is another story. I solo the soundslot where the Mopho is and us sample function on Maschine, and then put it in a soundslot... Much easier to use Live as a sequencer with external instrument, either midi is rendered in real time with the whole arrangement or I just route the midi to an audio track. I would really appreciate to know about your workflow with Mokeys and Maschine!

Actually thats just the usb cable which is running to the hub sitting on my ultralite. The crappy iphone pic just makes it look bigger like a midi cable. I only drape it over the top there so I don't have to dig for it on the floor every time I want to plug it in.

TBH I really only use maschine for drum/percussion/fx type stuff. I don't sequence external devices with it - just use it as a plugin for samples. It could be used for more I suppose but have developed a bit of another workflow.

I have all my midi routed to the patchbay. When the computer is off I sequence the Mopho from the MonoMachine. It has a great sequencer and is a lot easier to input notes. When the computer is on I usually sequence it with Numerology using the launchpad in the corner. For non drum step sequencing Numerology rules with a launch pad and I normally just rewire it into Live.

Thanks fragmentated - I am just trying to figure out how to use Maschine a little bit more with hardware. At the moment it is just like you, more a plugin for samples (without TS), good hands-on but unfortunately if you compare it to Ableton Sampler, it is far behind for this specific purpose.

I would love to try Numerology with a Launchpad!

    TO EpikureeR

EpikureeR, do you use a spectrum analyzer for your drums? Which one do you use? I want to start learning about that sort of stuff.

    Thanks

I only use a spectrum analyzer if I'm encountering problems in the mixing progress, to see where on which drum/sound I have to tweak something to solve the problem.
Mostly I work with my ears, but if I can't identify the problem with my ears then I use a spectrum analyzer.
There are several out there, I sometimes use Voxengo Span, then I have another one (deeper though, gives also information on the density of frequencies) but I can't remember the name here.
Just check KVRaudio or google for finding some analyzers.
But always first use your ears, because people on the dancefloor/radio listen to the music through their ears, not analyzers.

    Cheers

Nice! What kind of desk is that and where did you get it if you don't mind me asking? I am looking for one to condense the room down.

Thanks, its a Bestar Hampton Corner Workstation.

The cheapest I found it was on officemax.com, the assembly is moderately tough if you do it alone. I think Staples will assemble it for you for a fee.
