What is Kontakt and how does it work with Akoustik

    I'm using Akoustik now on the ASUS desktop that I just built and the sound is so much improved over the HP laptop I was using before.

    I have Power Tracks for my sequencer and haven't tried using Akoustik within that program yet.

    What is Kontakt and how would it be used with AP?

    Kontakt's a sampler. AP uses a derivative of the Kontakt engine, but it's locked as far as content goes; that is, you can only play AP's instruments. With Kontakt, you can load AP's instruments (.nki is the Kontakt format; it's also used by NI sample instruments with the exception of Battery) as well as any other format it will load. See the import/compatibility list for more info about what Kontakt will play;
