I post this because NI's platform support is not uniform and is confusing and potentially unfair.
To clarify: In certain products ie battery, Pro52 etc.. when you purchase them you get both a Mac and PC version so should you choose to swap platforms its fair to NOT have to purchase the product again. This is how it should be but it is not. For example, the pro tools edition, when you purchase this product at its high price you do NOT get the equivalent PC Battery version should you choose to use Battery on the PC. You are essentially forced to re-purchase the same product - this is absurd! What is going to happen to Kontakt when it comes out on the PC? If I have to wait for the Mac product in order to get both versions then I will so that I have a choice when I actually try it on my system. I think we should all voice our opinion on this subject as I think we should only ever have to pay for a product ONCE.

Please NI can you clarify your position on this VERY IMPORTANT matter,.
    Thanks

We're trying to make our cross-platform policy more uniform, starting with Kontakt. Kontakt ships for PC with a copy-protection CD that is readable by the Mac and PC. You will be able to download the Mac version for free when it's available.
