Ive finally decided to get round to connecting my CDJ 2000s to Traktor, but i no you need a usb Hub.

Ive done alot of reading up on the forum but cant find a specific one to get.

Ive read that you want a hub that runs at 2000ma and around 4 ports with an external power suply.

What Hubs do people use on here and what would they recommend?

    Pref names and models please.

    Thanks :D

Are you referring to a powered usb hub, OR a cat5 network hub?

As the cdj2000's can be connected via both methods to a computer.
Also what system are you using PC? Mac?
What method are you using to control traktor? HID via usb? Or timecode?

All these need to be taken into consideration before making a choice.

Any powered USB hub should work.

Also the cat5 hub will work better if using the Rekordbox software.

Also have you read that the CDJ2000's dont actually work well in HID mode with traktor compared to serato.

    Food for thought.

    Thanks mate,

I dont really no the difference between HID and Timecode mode. Ill be using the CDJ 2000s to control each Deck so which ever is better.

    I also use a Kontrol X1.

I will be connecting it to my Macbook which i run Traktor on.

Im looking for a powerred Hub mate.

Well, HID only requires you to connect CDJ's to macbook, via usb cables.

Timecode, is where you insert control cd's into the player to control and manipulate the software.

But it depends on what version of traktor you are using.

Im almost pretty sure that any powered USB hub will do, but there will no doubt people on here and even on youtube videos who will recommend certain types of hub which will work and even help guide through setup procedures.

Ill be linking the CDJs to the hub via USB thats the reason i am looking into the Hubs mate.

Lee, i think you have just to do a trial and error basis.

Belkin make good hubs, but there is others which could be cheaper and better, but in all honesty, any powered hub should work.
