Ok I bought the Behringer USB link and got guitar combos, II & III
Now I'm reading hints that there are two versions and of course I got the lesser of the two. I hate companies that do that, they should at least plaster across the front NOT THE REAL PROGRAM JUST PART OF IT. But here I am trying to make the best of what I do have.
The next thing is, I can't find Guitar Combos listed on the NI site anywhere, it's as if it doesn't exist; and yet here we all are. I only stumbled into here by sheer accident one day and if I hadn't bookmarked it I would never have gotten back. I know they have a section, I got registered and even bought the III version somehow, but why keep it a big secret?
I can find nothing in the way of documentation, nothing about how to use these things, the controls or recorder or anything.
Is there a user manual or a help section anywhere?
I figured out parts of it but I think there is more.
I thought I would be able to use it for recording, seems I'm out of luck on that one.
Now that I find out I have the lesser version I would like to know what the real difference is between my Behringer version and the other official one. Can I upgrade mine? Or am I just out the money?
And by the way, how do you find the other one anyway?

I hope someone can offer some answers and or help.
    I thank you

Ok, I got everything working with the amps, seems not everything is upfront easily seen. But still there is no actual documentation I've found on how to use these. I'm guessing they just assume you'll hit and miss playing around with it and eventually find everything or just figure it out on your own.
Why is it that tech/owners manuals etc. are always so lousy?

It's harder than you think to find someone who can write clearly about technology and can "hang" with guitar players.
I'm sorry that you feel the documentation is lacking, hopefully we can give you some more answers here.
