    Hi all,

What is the most stable version to use? I currently have 2.1.3, 2.1.2 and 2.5.0 and all versions have cue point bugs when using cdj1000 mk3's.

I've been told there are some versions that don't have this problem?

    Thanks in advance.

    Ross

Many thanks. Where can I download this? I don't see it in the service center?

    Thanks again

if you never had it (because you joined the party later), you have to contact NI support.
they may send it to you (not sure how goodwill they are in those cases).

    Hey Ross,
Make sure you're using the updated CD timecode. The old ones are buggy on MK3s & the new CDJs. Also, try burning new copies. Even minor scratches cause skips.

Thanks all, I am using the MK 2 timecode discs. Is it the time code that causes the cue point bugs or the software?

    The Mk II?

Because I had huge problems with my timecode CDs in the club a couple of days ago,

no scratches, but still losing contact on and off and re-calibraton being erratic

Yeah, I use the traktor scratch control disc mk 2's with my cdjs.

Does anyone know how long NI support takes to respond to a query? I've requested for the 2.0.3 version to be sent to me...I'd like to try gigging with traktor this tomorrow.

NI support takes 2-3 working days usually. if it takes longer, let me know the ticket number and i'll investigate.

What does this bug exactly do.

I've played with MKIIIs for a while but I used the X1 for hot-cueing and starting the track by hand/scratch. So I've never used the big Cue button on the MKIIIs

    Many thanks...appreciated.
    ---
Sometimes when I load a track the cue point is a little bit off so the start of the track clips. So if I want to play a track from the start then I'll have to adjust the cue point before playing...surely this shouldn't be the case when using Traktor. Also on occasions a loaded track may start 10-15 secs(approx) into a track....this def shouldn't be the case. Any of these issues can be annoying when you want to quickly cue up a track when djing.

...and with your workflow you'll probably never run into this issue at all. the cd cue bug is workflow-dependant.

If you're using 2.0.x, can't you not use the updated timecode CD? Where can you get a version of the old one cause I don't want to mess with 2.5.
