What is the purpose of the bounce button?

    What is the purpose of the bounce button, located to the left of the Play button? The readme says:

    "If you want to export/ render audio files using the PlugIn Version of BANDSTAND the activation of the bounce to audio button is required. This button is situated in the header of BANDSTAND left to the Play Button."

    But I don't know what this means. Does this mean rendering loaded MIDI files? Does it mean rendering whatever is being played by the host program to audio? But the button doesn't ask for a file name. I have no idea how this button works.

    Hi Brian,

    this button should light up when you are rendering to an audio file with a host. if it does not light up by itself, please push it before selecting the file to render to via the host.
