Can someone tell me why FS2 is not working with Pioneer CDJ 1000?

What kind of crap is Stanton's business... First it was FS1, now FS2 is doing the same sheett....

I can't believe they are again releasing a half-ass product, their explaination is always" We are releasing a bug fix soon..... Why wouldn't it work out of the box...

I am pissed because I have paid nearly 1200 dollars for both FS1 and FS2, and both of them dont' work the way they 're supposed to.....

I am selling my FS2 .......... SSl here I come.....

Yeah I feel your pain.. I had to send my SA2 to Stanton to get a replacement/repair.

Ohh its not Stanton its NI you should be mad at. NI makes the software, stanton the hardware (well not actually makes the hardware but I'm sure they designed it).

Why don't you get off of your freaking soap box and open your eyes? As long as you have been posting in and reading this forum, are you really that blind that you didn't pay attention to other users who stated that they were having problems with CD decks? That would be as stupid as somebody going and purchasing something like the Berhinger version of the DJM-600 and complaining that it doesn't do this or that as good. If you had problems with FS1, I would think that you would be smart enough to read other user feedback before purchasing the new product. And what problems are you talking about?!? You wanna bitch, but you can't even state the problem with CDJ-1000's.

With that said, I agree, the product should have worked right out of the box as advertised. And yes, there is a issue with ALL CD decks. NI figured out the problem, they have to program the fixes, and then the beta testers have to test the fixes. But dude, the software has been out for what, a whopping two months.. c'mon, grow up a little.

Well nobody works for free... Ni or Stanton gotta give you guys some freebies.... Me..?? I spend my hard work money for my gear..... 1200 dollars toghether is not chump change .. at least for me.....

Well I just thought that Ni/Stanton should have learnt the lesson, and should have released FS2 with flawless design in hardware and software like the boasted..... 2 months out doesn't mean that it should crash and they are still working on the bugs.... .... .....

Look at SSL... they walk the walk.... man...

When SSL was first released they had tons of issues! They still have issues, I'm on their boards all the time.

I'm not saying one system is better then the other, but I'm saying your talking about a new product released (still a baby in the software cycle) VS. a mature product thats been around for some time (has gone through few major updates).

Thats like comparing Andre the Giant at age 12 VS. HHH and age 25. Sure HHH at 25 is one huge a$$ Mofo but whos to say that the 12 year old Andre is going to be weak.

Let Andre grow and we'll start to see who can really walk the walk.

 

regardless wether you go with FS2 or SSL, Cd decks will have the same problem on all platforms.

theres always going to be that initial lag of finding the time code. its not going to be EXACTLY like a cd or vinyl.

 

I run the old 1.5.4 perfect with my denon 2600.
The 2.0 does not work but that is old news.
Use the vinyls on 2.0 and denon on 1.5.4
