Anybody working on any cool projects musically? If so, how are you using maschine in your process?

30 second opening theme music for a techno podcast. not using maschine for this simply because it's not the best tool for this type of work.

I work on the next LP of Haviah mighty , a toronto MC who had 2 millions views with a cypher on team back pack.
I also work with another toronto mc named jewelz on a single track.
And finally I have my own project scheduled for 2017 , in the same vein of the kaytranada LP 99.9%

I'm building my home/studio at the mo ,so maschine is under my bed :( ,my cabin is full of insulation and about 80 sheet of plasterboard
Been using a generator for power for the past 3 months ,finally got my solar panels on the roof the other day , so I may have to set my gear up to see how we'll in works with it.
But I know if I do that ,I'll still have about 80 sheets of plasterboard stacked in my lounge in 2017

finishing up an album, where everything originated out of maschine. I spent 2 months making 1-2 sketches a day, and a lot of kits and sounds and effect chains. I then chose the best 20 of them or so, merged some of them together, and bounced everything into studio one, from where I started arranging and mixing. I'm not pushing it too much atm because I started a huge orchestration course which is really taxing, but I will finish it in june when I'm at my place in the woods in germany.

I made an Underground dubstep EP using exclusively Maschine drumsynths for drums.

Currently i am working on my first LP with Maschine mostly as a sounddesign tool because of ist send FX chain/sequence capabilitys.

I completed an album in Feb where about half the tracks contained elements created in Maschine (the rest started life on MPC or elsewhere in computer).

sigh, link would be here if I could add one - even bbcode doesn't work

Running as a plug in Tracktion 6. All of the arrange work done after dragging audio or midi into this host DAW, because I just find that easier & more fluent.

Working on an EP based around Tribes "Peoples Instinctive Travels..." Lp, and their focus on the elements of funk and rhythm. Adding melody to that equation. Just became a dad though, so things are moving slowly at the mo... :)

currently working on new tracks for my band SARDH .
slow heavy monolithic sound pictures . we play on the Wroclaw Industrial Festival in november .

besides, I am working on a solo program in october. Here I work with four sine generators with different subbass frequencies and slow in and out volume fades (slowly evolving bass pulses). i play at Hellerau – European Center for the Arts Dresden. the pa there is from Studt-Akustik, an absolutely crystal clear and sub heavy beast.

In both projects Maschine is the tool for sound design and pattern automation also arrangement. i am only working with Maschine stand allone, Komplete 10 Ultimate and Komplete Kontrol.

by the end of the year I want to make my own expansion . theme is bleak powerful sound design , deep bass , huge drums , creative side chain processing . fx pattern automation , creative aux routing . I hope I find time for this plan . many ideas from the above mentioned projects may be included with .

Wow. This thread makes me feel insignificant. Its certainly inspiring to see how entrenched some people here are in their local music scene. I just don't have time. In the minimal spare time outside of my day job, being a dad, husband and homeowner (less than 2 hrs per day, usually), I make music as a creative outlet to relax from the stress of everyday life. I have no projects other than ideas, an occasional DJ gig and the beat battles here. I guess you could call that an 'expensive hobby' (my wife certainly feels that way..lol), but I feel like it could take me in new directions, someday, somehow, if I just keep at it.

I like the sound of this! and of course congrats on your new edition.

I'm trying to finish a few tracks (dubby, psychedelic downtempo) for possible EP... but committed all of june to another (paying) project, so finish date is TBD. all drum arrangement 80% completed in machine (some standalone, some as VST in bitwig). then stemed out for further tweaking and group processing. also sampling/resampling/processing/shaping/sound designing and sound abusing in maschine before dragging audio for use of bitwigs extensive fx modulation. otherwise all synths (vst and hardware) tracked in bitwig. and for anything requiring automation, even a little automation, I avoid maschine to preserve my sanity.

Quite busy with music projects lately.

Few weeks ago I have reunited with my band. I was frontman and was responsible for the electronic parts. I quit the band in 2013 but in 2014 they asked me if I can help them with some electronic stuff for the new record. I happily agreed. They started recordings in late 2014, but then they have some problems with the new vocalist. It's almost 2 years and record is not finished, so we have a long talk and I'm back. Band plays rock music, so I wow working in logic using premixed stems but now will translate some parts to Maschine to use them live.

Also not so long ago I joined a dnb project – live drums, guitars and electronic bits. I usually start work in Maschine but then I convert tracks into Bitwig. We all live in different cities so we needed some tool that will let everyone work on a project. Bitwig was our choice. Would love to try use Bitwig and Maschine together in a live setup.

In the meantime I'm trying to finish my solo project. I'm always saying that I'm the king of unfinished projects (when working alone). But recently I picked up 13 tracks that are mostly done and will work on them in a free time. Maybe I'll manage to release something in 2017.
EDIT. Forget to mention, that all my solo tracks are made in Maschine standalone.

Of course I'm dealing with everyday job and started extramural studies two years ago. What tempted me to start studying at my age? ;) Don't know, but at lest I chose the right faculty this time (sound engineering).

Working on my first EP, which is more difficult than i anticipated. I keep thinking the oldest tracks aren't up to the standard I'm on now. But i'll get there.

Just played the last show of a music theatre piece, for which i made part of the music, together with a guitarist, bassist, rapper, singer and keyboard player. We're planning to do a sequel.

I was asked to make music for a small independent filmscene. a couple of minutes, which will be a live jam with a guitar player.

Just finished a remix for a reggae band (check the music made with maschine area)

Also working on a hiphop-project, but my partner in crime just became a father and is moving, so this project is moving slow.

And besides from that I have a couple of collaborations going :)
