    Hi!

I just paid for and downloaded Pro 53 for OSX,
believing to be a registered Pro 53 user--having a Pro 53 serial number.

I initially bought Pro 52 and later upgraded to
    Pro 53, online.

So of course I don´t have any Pro 53 disk.

    And now I can´t install!!?

Did I just throw 29€ out the window?

Did you try using your Pro-52 disk like you had to for your original Pro-53 install?

    Thanks for your speedy concern!

Yes I did, but my computer says: No Pro 53 disk found, so installation is interrupted.

Now, I have seen a note mentioning the need
of a Pro 53 installer disk. But I certainly did not see anything about that before purchasing.

In this case I must be a "semi registered Pro 53
    user"
(I do not have an OS9 computer anymore, so I
    miss the beast a bit!)

Hyerstay--This seems to be a very fast forum.

With this encourage I´ll go on trying.
(In a somewhat humbler environment: iBook, G4, 800)

    Thanks!

    No, I´m in bad luck.

It will not accept my Pro 52 vers. 1.00 disk.
Either Pro 53, Pro 52 Digi or Studio coll., but not mine.

    What did you do?

Did you wait until the disk was mounted to click OK in the dialog that comes up? Do you have to choose the disk in a Open window, or does it just look on its own? (I forget)

If you can't get it go, I'll reinstall mine and see, since I don't have to worry about the web authorization stuff.

I also have a 1.0 disk. I just installed it in classic to see the version! :)

Just leave the disk in the drive until you have run it once as a standalone and once as a plugin.

    Classic was the keyword.

Installing the Pro 52 disk in classic apparently did the trick.

Now it works--as standalone and vst.
    Haven´t tried Logic yet.

Thanks a lot! And merry Xmas!
