What Steps to take to sell traktor scratch pro?

hi, im looking at selling my setup of traktor scratch pro as it isnt what i expected and it runs horribly on my system. ive spent hours trying to rectify this but i've lost interest in it.

what do i have to do about liscenses? can i cancel my account so the next person will be able to use it ok?

ive been told by someone that i can do it online via the service centre, i have created a new user account and edited the name and details in there, but is this the correct way to do this?

and any idea about how long it takes to switch over?

The proper way is to fax through transfer of ownership form. Search the forum for 'Transfer of Ownership' there are plenty of threads on this.

 

If you are on windows:

- install 2.0.2 Traktor update from the support section ^^^
- install soundcard driver 3.0.0 from the support section ^^^
- in the documentation for the soundcard driver there is a toubleshooting .pdf. Follow it.

 

fill out a request form and let them now that you want to unregister software. they will send you an email that you have to reply back that you are the original owner and that's it. takes at most 2 days. i sold almost everything and had no problems (ddj-t1, maschine)

 

have you tested the new audio 8 drivers ? are they like the previous beta ones or are they better ?

 

I've installed the audio2 ones and the audio10 ones. The audio10 ones work fine, I haven't really noticed any difference between that and 2.9.8.

 

ok going to give this all one last go, but i cant find traktor 2.0.2 anywhere in the support section. the only thing under traktor scratch pro is for an x1 controller editor?

no im just running traktor scratch pro, lol could be why!

well that clinches it then, ive updated my driver and still no joy.

Come on dude.... download TSP 2 and get with the program.... your way behind.. all the glitches have been shrank to a minimum..... TSP 1.2.7 is so last year..lol

If you own TSP you get a free upgrade to TSP2.... speak to support...!

don't just update the drivers.... it's a whole new program mate......!

unless he owns s4 and tsp he does not get tsp2 for free. It's 79 Us to upgrade

 

that was my main aim, try out tsp whilst i still have serato and decide if i want to sell serato or tsp, then depending on that, upgrade my tsp software.

but based on my personal experiences thus far, im not willing to invest more money in something that may or may not reduce my problems. based on what ive read elsewhere on these boards, my problems can still happen on tsp2.

i'm not traktor bashing, as i think its a outstanding piece of kit with a mass amount of features to suit any style and most likely its something i am overlooking.

but unfotunately im not willing to spend any more time and money trying to rectify the problems ive encountered when i need to be spending that time dj'ing and studying

 

you can still download the full TSP2 demo free and try it... its the full version but stops after 30 minutes...!
