Mr. Hawtin uses another tool every year, well at least some things change in his setup. In that movie he was using Traktor DJ Studio indeed, but it's a movie from 2007 or 2008, I guess?

 

I have not understood, how much old cinema

 

September, 2008 I think. Traktor Pro came out a little later, no? And to be frank Traktor Pro wasn't even really usable till very late in 2008.

 

The movie is at least one year old if not older.

What he uses in the movie is:

Ableton Live (with some fx)

looks like in 2009 Mr Hatin uses TP and Maschine

 

Mr H is definitely a pro user nowadays. T3 wouldn't have the linkage with Maschine - and lets face it, the guy practically lives in NI...

 

And now there is video evidense of him using some new NI (Traktor <Scratch> Pro?) controller - looks interesting - though a lack of jog wheels is notable - then again, he uses scratch, so he would have something else to jog with right?.

 

Looks like A&H are about to anounce a XoneX controller very soon... Maybe that?

You know i see these videos of Ritchie and other DJs and theres always loads of wannabe hangers-on all around getting in the way and i just think WHY ?

And forgive my ignorance but whos the performing Seal in the pirate hat, hes so melted that he looks at the hat wondering how to work it !

Karlos...a DJ, or band, or any performer, makes his stage his own. If Richie and Luciano wanted to create an atmosphere where they had balloons and hot chicks with their backs to the crowd, then so be it.

Im sure its pretty difficult in a place like that to get all those goofballs out of the box even if you are Mr Hawtin.

Yeah i agree the DJs should have sorted that out. Maybe they care about the crowd just as little too ?
