What's my username and password?

    Tried to update Battery but I have to put in a username and password. I bought the thing over 2 years ago and I haven't a clue what these are. I sent an email to no avail ... surely there must be records that show I'm a legit user. I'd love to update but can't ... doh!

    Got the info but still can't proceed. I just get

    'Your user account is valid but you are not in a usergroup that is permitted to perform this action. Please register all your NI products on our online registration page.'

    do what it says, register your original version of battery first. the username and password are the same for all your NI´s. you might have registered any other NI-product earlier but not the battery. thats why they were able to provide your u-name and p-word on request.
    hope you haven´t also lost your serial...

    I tried reregistering it. Maybe I missed something. I'll try again.

    Nope, still won't accept the username. I'm back tomorrow if anyone's got any ideas.

    last idea:

    as for registering your username is your e.mail adress!
    the username for the forums, downloadareas etc. is the login name which you might have got fom NI in your e-mail. should be ajaysongs in your case. ;)
    the password is the same in both cases...

    hope this helps.

    did you buy the upgrade? it is not fee, so if your getting an error and you did not buy it- that is why-

    otherwise, if your still having issues please call the NI sales line.
    they will have you fixed in no time

    Yes I went through the process of buying the upgrade from the OS9 version and I can log into my account details ... So I do exist:)

    It all goes wrong when I try and submit the purchase form using email and password. The email is what it doesn't seem to like.

    Problem solved .. there was an issue with my account. Great to have battery back :)
