From time to time I hear sounds on tracks and I am absolutely clueless as to how they are made. Often these are somewhat subtle. Here are two examples. Does anyone have an opinion as to how these sounds were created?

Earhart Video (not too long). This video contains some beautiful , subtle "metallic" keyboard or percussion tones. Any idea how to create these sounds?

This AudioJungle track has a fascinating "top loop" percussion sound. Kind of "clicky" with a LOT of rhythmic variation. I think it's absolutely fascinating. Does anyone have an idea how to create this?

i cant see the first video - and to the second:
just use percussive sounds (or crackle sounds from the libary and shorten them in editor to one crackel) and go to amp adsr and set everything to sero and just a little bit decay, on top play a bit with note repeat thats it

Thank you! I'll give it a try. Is there a "crackle" or "Percussive" sound you can suggest as a start? Also, I re-posted the video link. Perhaps this will be a better link:

Uwe I have been getting some good results following your ideas. best so far (in Massive) is very short envelopes, white ("bright") noise as sound source, Filter: BandReject1 (Massive)
