Who is „Plasma1” never read in the Reaktor world.

 

I bought this today but only spent a few minutes with it.

As I'm not Richard Devine there is no need for me to bought it.

Yeah, I bough it too. It is a really good ensemble. Very intuitive, easy to work with.

 

Curious if you think there's anything that sets this apart from the other similar type synths like Cloudlab, Buchla, Complex-1 etc..? Seems to have a focus on random sequencing tools and not generation?

 

So first a generator of lazy seqs and second a similar Cloudlab?

Sounds very good,lots of character,nice saturation,interesting modulations...evolutions and the interface seems clear,easy to understand....no comparison to do with Cloudlab i think.
Not many West Coast emulations if we compare to Moog,Roland and the likes.

 

Looking at the sequencer in the video,it's not about random really....seems to be a small step sequencer where you can choose the direction,each voice can have a different speed,you can modulate the overall speed etc. and you have an XY where it looks like you can record movement and loop it.

Edit:Oh i see they mention "random sequencer" in the description...well you still control a few things on how that happens.

i wish i could say i had my west coast covered. i feel like i would also be able to shoot lightning bolts from my fingers if such a thing were true...

i imagine not, pretty sure that's not an ability. i can't exactly say i'm jealous of people who understand west coast stuff because one if the nice things about it is having something to be a bit confused about again
