What's up with the cells not being sequentially key-mapped?

Any particular reason why when I run up the keys of my MIDI keyboard Battery's cells sound off semi-randomly? From the top A row of cells it starts off C1 - C#1 - D1...then it begins jumping around to other cell rows. Why on Earth would they not run top to bottom left to right sequentially?

Thats the fault of whoever created the kit. Its a setting called "key range", that determines what note actually triggers the cell. You could organize them properly, by playing the keyboard from the bottom up, dragging the cells to their proper placement, OR changing the key range (probably easier to just drag em). Then save the kit as the current name so it overwrites the unorganized kit.

I agree, that makes sloppy, confusing sessions. Thats the power of Battery though. Fully programmable, leaves alot of room for user error. Nothing out there even compares to Battery.

Thanks for the response. Yeah, these are stock Battery Kits. Just seems odd that they would not be sequentially ordered, because of that sometimes you got play the "Guess where the sound is on the keyboard" game. I guess I can reorder and save them.
