hi, i need to build something simple for interactive thing
but since i am still r5 noob i need your help please

there is switch which sends 1 or 0, on or off via OSC
so i use OSC Recieve module in r5
when value is 1 i need to trigger random midi note (in some specified range)
and ideally this small thing could be as seperate insturment so i can just specify to which synth send the notes

can somebody help me with this please?
    best regards, k.

I believe a Random osc -> Rectify -> Value, use button as trigger should work as a starting point.

Hi Karl, I had a few spare moments today and your question inspired a blog post. ;-)

All you have to do is map your OSC parameter onto the trigger button on the OSC connection tab in the button properties.
