When did you receive yours?

I'm trying to figure out when some of you got your copies of Absynth 3, particularly anyone who purchased the Komplete Care prerelease. I thought I would have recieved mine by now.

I bought the KC pre last month and, and early last week I received the serial number via email with a note saying it was about to ship. The number has also been entered into my user info.

But still no Absynth. I'm in the states and was thinking the Care updates are perhaps coming from overseas?

Same situation here, I've not recieved it either. I'm in Sweden.

 

same here. no Absynth3 yet even though i alos bought the Kmplete Care 2005 package.

the claim was that we would receive the updates BEFORE anyone else. yet i am seeing people post who obviously have the update.

what is up with that? walking a fine line...

 

same here (Dortmund, Germany). I have got the Komplete Care on 3rd of January. Yesterday I phoned to Ireland (i think). NI told that there are some "technical difficulties". Next week I will get the update. So we have still to wait.

Like everyone else - I'm waiting and waiting ....

I bought and registered KC2005 on Dec 30th. I haven't heard anything about when I'll get my Absynth 3 Update yet. I was a bit pissed off to find it wasn't in the KC box to be honest when it turned up at my house containing only the B2 upgrade DVD.

Do you get an email to let you know the update is on it's way to you?

yes. i got an email announcing that it would ship soon.

but it has been more than long enough since then to have delivered it from nearly anywhere in the world...and i still don't have it.

Even so, it's now in the stores.

I bought and registered mine before Christmas, and recieved the confirmation email/serial number before the New Year.

I tried, unsuccessfully to reach someone at the NI office here in the U.S. for two days last week, at around 3 p.m. I also left a voicemail and two emails with customer support. However, I have yet to hear anything.

If anyone else hears anything, let us know.

Seems that NI promised to much again. I recieved a note on dec30 that is was shipping "soon".

But I took the bait. I can't help it, I'm such a sucker for NI stuff, and It's worth it.

 

The serial number for Absynth 3 got added to my registration info yesterday afternoon so I tak it this means things are on the move? Maybe this time next month I'll have the update? *lol*

I just wonder where the people who have absynth 3 got it. Are they upgraders, new buyers, or are any of them Komplete Care buyers?

 

Regarding Komplete Care - I talked with someone at NI here in the U.S. and he confirmed that all the Care updates, including the current Absynth 3 are being shipped from Germany, rather than through local distribution.

He speculated it would arrive this week.

Hmmm. How this translates into the product's claims for reaching some of us before the stores should be interesting.

i'll give them a break this first time since they are presumably ironing out the kinks with the new system, but if it happens next time around, i'll be writing to the Better Business Bureau here in the US to report what amounts to bullsh*t claims in advertising.

also, why in the world does not NI come onto the forum and address this issue: they are clearly in the wrong and, if it is an honest mistake, a simple explanation as to what to expect would go a long way...

I got mine at Guitar Center in downtown Chicago, they were the only place near me that had it. This is my first NI product, I did not own Absynth 1 or 2. I must say I'm a bit bummed it was released with so many obvious bugs. If it was hardware, I would have returned it, but since you can't return software, I'm stuck waiting for an update now.

 

I ordered the update from 2 to 3 early December and haven't received it yet.

I also emailed NI twice with no response.

This is getting bizar. Early december 2004 i ordered Complete Care 2005 with Absynth 3. And on december 30 a new message stating it will arive soon. Normaly Absynth3 should have been shipped immediately after ordering.

So everybody is waiting on a very very bizar event: The shipment of Absynth 3.

Well I can say I am deceived, dissatisfied, I am really fu**ed by NI.

When this was anticipated (and a good bussiness model wil) you SHOULD have told your customers that there was a delay with a new expected delevery date
