When send the Kontrol X1 pre-ordered?

The 17 december I have pre-ordered the Kontrol X1,I have not still received nothing but in the stores he is already available..

When send the Kontrol X1 pre-ordered?

NI have not still taken the money from my credit card,I can cancel the preorder so I can today order it in a store?

Just had a look at the top 3 UK dealers, they say 'not in stock', 'coming soon' and 'available 01.02.10'.

 

Pre-order means that your order is taken but the product will be delivered after the release Date. It does not mean that you get the unit early.

If you wish to cancel you should contact Sales Support.

Do any of those state the units are in stock and shipping? One seems to say "late January."

I dont understand the point of all this.

NI announced the release date of the X1 as 1st Feb. Obviously they have had to ship some to retailers so that they are available from that date.

If some retailers are selling them early that is down to them NOT NI.

When Traktor Pro came out some retailers made it available shortly before the NI shop. This happens with many products. NI arent responsible for retailers holding to the release date.

Most retailers that say they have them will put you on Pre-Order anyway and will ship on the 1st Feb so you wont get the X1 any sooner.

1) OP thought he would be first in line with a pre-order at NI
2) This was not the case
3) OP will never pre-order from NI again
4) Italian and German stores have it in stock
5) Lesson learned: don't give NI your money directly, give them your money through another shop so you're paying two sets of people. That way everyone gets to share in the post-recession bliss!

Yes , you "Pre-Ordered" from NI who explicitly said shipping is 1st Feb.
NI did not say that they will "ship" the X1 before 1st Feb, they allowed you to make an order pre-release. You have reserved an X1.

Your X1 will be shipped 1st Feb. It is not NIs fault that some shops are selling theres too early.

Most shops will not actually send the X1 out till the 1st Feb.

You should order one from the shops and see how long the delay will be to receive it .. So many shops just try to look exclusive and don't have anything in stocks at all.
