where are the new added ensembles?

where are the new added ensembles? no lazerbass or electronic instruments 1&2 just installed it and can't find anything
on osx 10.6.4.
am i missing something?

 

Same, Can't seem to find the new ensembles on 10.6.3 either.

 

Lazerbass doesn't install under OS X. Neither do Electronic Instruments.
To get them to show up under OS X:
I had to Right click > show package contents the Installer .mpkg.
Go to Contents>Packages And run the 'Reaktor 5 Library Update.pkg' manually.
Now everything is there.

 

guess, where i've searched
it's nowhere on my macbook.

 

Please file a bug report for this, it's not a known issue here.

 

The ensembles installed just fine for me on OSX...

 

On my imac with osx leopard 10.6.4 all ok installation reaktor new version and new instruments there are in the folder library ( electronic instrument 1 and 2) + zip folder for leagacy library ( old instruments reaktor version library reaktor 3 and reaktor 4)
All ok and perfect

I had the same problem with Lazerbass not installing on OSX; I think IE 1&2 installed correctly (already had them installed, but looks like the current files are much newer).

I had to install manually as per the above suggestion, will add to the bug tracker.

 

Ditto ashd's experience (OSX 10.5.8); thanks! Worked fine and results reported.

 

same problem here on windows. i have ei1 and ei2, and everything is still there as before, but no new content. gui updates are excellent, and cpu use down, but...pretty strange.

edit: haha. tried one more search after i posted and voila. never mind. my bad. back to the fun.

I don't seem to have any of the new ensembles lazerbass or the EI 1&2
If i do right click as suggested i dont have Reaktor 5 library update.pkg in the contents folder.

hi!

i cant seem to find lazerbass and electronic isntruments either, but the update worked (i got the new gui).

i have tried to reinstall several times but it didnt help.


i am on windows 7 64bit could that be the problem?

Edit: i just installed reaktor 5.5 on my macbook now and copied the library to my windows machine and it worked.

 

Same here... no Library Update. Doing it manually as suggested worked for me (thanks!) but I'm wondering if anything else was missed on the install.

 

Unfortunately, the update installer doesn't install the additional content in some special cases. We are aware of this: Thanks to your input in the bugtracker and the forum, we are currently approaching a solution. The next public beta release is going to include the fix.

 

I am having the same problems with no new instruments being installed, but would like to see if I can do the recommended work around instead of waiting around till next month for the bugfix.

But I don't know how to "run the installer manually." Banging my head against a wall, any clues would be much appreciated. Sorry, in advance for maybe asking a dumb question. Thanks.

 

didn't work for me first either but I did the right click package trick and it installed ok...

lazerbass ended up here:
Reaktor->Library->Instruments->Synthesizers

and Electronic Instruments 1 and 2 ended up here:
Reaktor->Library->Ensembles->Electronic Instruments Vol. 1
Reaktor->Library->Ensembles->Electronic Instruments Vol. 2

why does it have to be so hard ?
