You need to enable them -- better check the manual but the gist of it is that you open the Browser (if you don't already have it open), click the Database tab, then drag down until it says "instruments quickload" or whatever you want to be available for quickload. Then use your mouse to click those little boxes to the left of the disk locations of your multis and instruments.

It sounds harder than it is.

    Quickload WTF?

The manual is really not clear- You can not open any instruments/multis from the quickload menu - checking the checkboxes in the database/quickload tab (which only allows access to high level folders no instruments or multis) does not seem to reflect anywhere else.

What are we missing what exactly is the "quickload" function meant to do?

    1) Create shortcuts somewhere? if so where?
    2) allow instruments to be loaded quickly? Doesn't seem so .....

Any clarity will be much appreciated.

Have you looked at the included videos?

Se Help / Open video tutorials. The one about Loading includes some Quickload features.

I know what you mean - it's confusing but basically the quickloads in the browser just make locations available for searching - when you go to open a multi or instrument it will have the quickload locations ready for action.

The quickload in the browser sounds like it's going to be a big piece of functionality but that's all it does and that's the confusing bit.

Why make such a fuss over such a small piece of technology?
