You can make your own kits with your own samples and layer them so they are unique!

You can have 44.1 samples on 24/96 , the samples will playback fine.. 24/96 are just numbers at the end of the day, don't get caught up in that rat race, your talent is much more important, the magic comes from knowing how to mix and master.. 24/96 is your bit rate for your projects, cool just check out motionsamples.com or big fish and find some drum samples you like then fill'em up in battery... Have fun!

Yes if your samples were not recorded in 24bit then it is really pointless to transfer them to that word length as it does not add any audible effects to the audio file it just helps with processing and keeping the precision during mixing and or mastering.

Many websites offer small kits for free download to get you interested in there products and as battery can load so many diffrent formats its worth the trouble to do a little digging and grab some free stuff.

    Some free goodies are

Just to post a few. Also remember to not sleep on the soundfonts as battery will load them and there are some really nice soundfont archives out there.
