    Hey guys, I hope I can explain my problem to you.

    Whenever I press the track edit button on my Traktor S 4 System, no green area is marked in the track waves anymore. The green parts of the track that determine the looped part etc do not appear.

    What do I have to do?

    Thx for your help!

    I dont know if it is actually called "track edit button". Lets say the "loop section" instead.

    so your playing a track and you press IN to define the loop start then OUT to define the end of the loop and it does'nt go green,create a loop and switch on active button..?... is that what you mean..?
    what's the track edit button..?.. what does it say on the button..?

    The Active Button only makes a pre-defined Loop Active. If there is no Loop set the Active button doesn't do anything.

    @danny

    No, I mean the jog buttons right next to the "in" and "out" buttons you were taking about.

    with them, I can define a loop section in a track which will be repeated as long as the left wheel-button is active. in this process, the defined part of the track usually goes green. But not anymore...

    sorry for the language barrier. I am not a native speaker.

    You've lost me mate... the only things either side of the 'in & out' buttons on the S4 is the two encoders... left for beat jumping/loop moving and right for loop length .... the twisty buttons....lol... do you mean these..?

    hey sorry for the late answering...

    yes I mean those! exactly...

    and whenever I used them, the parts of a track that I am using became GREEN !... Now they dont. Therefore, I am not able to set proper loop lenghts etc anymore... I want the track parts to highlight green again so I can actually SEE what I am doing there :)

    Thx
