    I've updated to Kore 2 from the DVD, installed all of the updates, downloaded the Pop Drums Expansion Pack, but can't install it because it says that I have now sample content folder? I've reintalled twice, yet still not luck. Can anyone help? My Komplete 5 and Kore 2 is a mess. Missing samples all over the place and mass confusion. Without my phat tracks, my kids wont eat. This plea is for them....;)

    Welcome =)

    Try rebooting and then running the Pop Drums installer again.

    I tried that several times after reading those instructions in many other posts. Sadly, it hasn't worked. I have a Kore 2 Sample Content folder in my Sample Libraries folder, but it is empty. Should it be?

    Nope. All of the samples for Kore 2 should be in there.

    So What next? I've downloaded and re-installed twice. Is there something from the CD I should do again? Could it have been a bad download from the service center? I dunno...I thought that may be it, but then I re-downloaded and reinstalled and still no HORRAY.

    If the samples didn't install to the Kore 2 sample folder that you mentioned, where did they install to? That's the first thing I'd look at if I were you...

    That's the problem. I don't even know what to search for. Can you give me a few names to do a search for so that I can find out where they might have gone to? I keep pointing the destination to the sample libraries folder, but may I should just leave it on the applications folder and see if it works itself out.
    The way I setup my folders is: Applications/Kore/and everything inside here - the Kore app, the indiv. plugins (Komplete 5) and the sample libraries folder. Is this common practice or am I doing it wrong?

    You have everything in the Kore folder itself? That's definitely not how I'd do it...

    You're on a Mac, I'm guessing. I'd be tempted to uninstall everything and reinstall, using the defaults as set by the installer, but that's pretty drastic. I'd probably contact support first if I were you; maybe they have another idea.

    okee dokee - I'll call 2moro. I just didn't want to have them all randomly floating around my applications folder...is that soooo wrong? :)

    P.S. Yes, I am on a mac. Dual 2.0 Ghz PPC G5 running Panther.
