I spent 3 hours on the phone with a member of the Presonus forum, just to get my Komplete 6 bundle installed in my Presonus Studio One last night.

I then discover today, that the Reaktor 5 is not in my Studio One's browser folder-which doesn't make any sense, because ALL of the different NI programs are located in the SAME program files folder....so where the f**k is my Reaktor 5?

Also, why do half of the NI software programs in this bundle, have instrument libraries that are separate from the programs...meaning that I have to go digging for the libraries?
I tried accessing the tutorials through this website, but it won't except my user name & password, but yet I have access to this forum...WTF?
Why do I need authorization just to view the tutorials....I spent $500 on software and NI can't afford to include a tutorial disc with the bundle?

    PC or Mac?

your user name for the forum is not the same as the one for the tutorials. try the email you registered Komplete with - which is you user name - plus the password you use for this forum.

btw, you should run all NI software Standalone before running it as a plugin.

on a Mac, Reaktor 5 should be in your Applications Folder or it could be in the Native Instruments Folder in your Applications Folder.

many Music applications put their Library in the System's Library folder. although on my Mac the Reaktor Library is in the Application folder.

Thanks for the response.I have windows 7.Why must I run all the stand-alone's first?I have already run Absynth 5,Massive & FM8 as plugins in my host WITHOUT running them as stand-alones first and I've had no problems with them whatsoever.

I KNOW where all of my instruments are located,as everything was listed in the SAME folder...but for some reason, the Reaktor never made it in my DAW.

Why? Because in a lot of cases the plugin won't initialize correctly- it relies on the standalone for library paths, etc.

    ew,

This is a quote from a NI user on the Presonus forum, can you please explain this?

"If you are on 64-bit os and working with 64-bit plugins, you're not going to find Reaktor. It's not available in 64-bit.

You will need a bitbridge to run it."

Just what it says. Reaktor isn't x64 yet. You'll need to use a bitbridge to run the plugin in a 64 bit environment.
