Seriously... It's been a year since Molekular is around, and there is only one external preset library for it? This is weird...

the Molekular FX sound quite different depending what sounds you route through them. the same effect can sound quite different depending on the material. that might be a reason that not many presets have been released, because sound designers will design presets for particular situations in their own studios.

i disagree with arachnaut, in that i think the 'Deep' series was one of Kore's success stories - and the reason Melekular was released in the first place. the only time i ever open Kore2 is to use the Deep series FX.

but i do agree with it's best to customize something you need at the time you work on a mix.

I'm sold on it, but definitely not as a preset machine. Now that I read the following thread on Muffwiggler, I see it more as a modular system that I don't have to spend thousands of dollars on, that does a much better job than some hardware (especially analog hardware) at getting at certain effects and modulation routings. It's really meant to be tinkered with.

The original patcher's explanation of the devices made things a bit clearer for me, and got me excited about the whole "make everything modulate everything else" design philosophy.
