Hi, I recently installed Komplete 8. Along with the other updates in the service center I noticed that there were updates for Battery Kits and so I downloaded them as well. I can't seem to find the proper folder to drop these updates into. IT might just be that I do not have these particular kits to begin with. At any rate the folders I have are:

    Battery3KompleteSound2
    Battery3SyntheticDrums2
    Battery3SyntheticDrums1
    Battery3StudioDrums

There doesn't seem to be equivalents in the Battery Library folder.

I also have: Battery3_Kit_Demos which I have no idea where to put either.

    Any help appreciated.

In your library: NI/Battery3/ Battery3 library/ create a folder like: 11-Synthetic Drums 1 and drag your kits and samples there.
I like to number them like NI does= 01-Acoustic kits, 02-Prod. Kits, etc....just continue with nuMbErs
    Done

These updates are for the products "Studio Drums", "Synthetic Drums 1 and "Synthetic Drums 2" These are discontinued products.

We may be able to use these *.kt3-files anyway, but I don't know how.

They are discontinued, but you can still find them on ebay or elsewhere.
Besides, I was only making an "example" for Old School, who probably has them.

What I ended up doing was deleting them. They are not intended for Komplete 8.:| I also removed ALL of the free players before installing Komplete 8;)
