where to setup pitchbend?!

    Hi,

    I'm trying to find where or how to set pitchbend ammount within Pro-53. Cant find anything in the manual. (Am i blind??)

    I'm trying to use my guitarsynth controlling Pro-53 but any synth controlled by a guitarsynth uses pitchbend control to emulate how a guitar is played. So any synth needs to be set to 12 or 24 to work properly...

    Anyone can help?

    Sorry, but you're out of luck. Pro-53 has a set pitchbend range (as did the Prophet-5)

    Damn taht sux!! I understand that NI wanted to emulate one of time's best synths but why do such a thing? Aint that just plain stupid??

    Aarghh,,,,well well, then i'm selling my copy, i wont be able to use it live!

    I sympathize. A bigger problem is that the Pro-53, along with almost every other synth out there, does not support MIDI Guitar mode. This is a shame since MIDI guitar mode is really an essential feature for anyone who wants to move beyond the lame keyboard oriented europop sound. One of the rare exceptions is the impOSCar - I suggest you check it out.

    This comes as a bit of a shock to me. I have just got Komplete 3 and have not got around to the pro-53 yet (just too much to play with).

    I am also a midi guitar player so it's pro-53s usefullness has just taken a plunge.

    Yeh, its a pity since Pro-53 has some really cool sounds.

    i tested impOSCar but didnt find any pitchbend settings, are they hidden somewhere perhaps?

    That´s no satisfying explanation !
    As a former owner of the original Prophet 5 REV 3.3, - I know, the fixed PB-Range was +/- a minor 6th, - not only 2 semitone- steps.
    It´s annoying NI isn´t able to make the PB-range selectable in semitone steps or set it to the original value !

    I asked for that long time ago and got a reply there will be an update one day including this fix...

    It must be so easy IMO, - please make it selectable.
