As per title, which if any of the controllers provide functionality for live looping and then dragging the loop to a remix deck?
If none, can it be mapped by midi? Can the dragging action also be mapped by midi?
When it is dragged to the remix deck, can you then seamlessly switch to playing from the remix deck?

I'd like to be able to build up a loop in the recorder, overdub some other tracks then put that onto a deck to play and mess with, start building up another loop and then jump between the 2 loops, record a new loop from the resulting mashup etc preferably all via hardware (the smaller the better)

Also - is there a way to listen to the loop recording via cue headphones? So you can build up a recording overdub without anyone hearing it until you mix it in/add to remix deck?

actually i think i've figured out the first bit - seems like only S4 has loop recording control and there is a capture button on the F1 and S8 that allows capturing from the loop recording.

The s4mk3 doesn't have a loop recorder. It has a pattern recorder for the 4 pads of a remix set to enable some live play (mostly suggested for drum sounds). I haven't got it to work very well.
But it is not able to record from the LoopRecorder. Also no control to capture and send anything to the remix decks.
The S8 also has no LoopRecorder control, unless you add it with a slightly complicated mapping.
Yes the F1 and S8 have capture control from decks and LoopRecorder.

But as for control of the LoopRecorder you would need to figure out or find mapping for any controller you buy.

The F1 is pretty much the best thing to buy for remix decks and actually in my opinion Stems as well.

There is still a bug as far as I know, that captured samples from decks leaves a slight bit of silence, most people don't notice it, but I wonder if that's why the function seems to be left out of the S4MK3 and also not a big selling feature anymore.
