Which Maschine Expansion for Trance?

which one(s) would you consider for Trance?

I already spotted Lucid Mission but I could have missed other expansions. What did you purchased?

Electric Vice has a demo track (the last one) that involves a trance-style track with mild electro elements

Personally, you could try a combination of existing genres to try and create a trance-style vibe, mainly using techno presets. If anything, there's a sort-of trance-like revival going on within the techno world at the moment right now.

 

you are right, Electric Vice is quite good at Trance too nevertheless, I hope NI will give Trance some love in their upcoming expansions

 

what else would you recommend for a trance?

 

I really like Carbon Decay and Raw Voltage. But it really depends on what type of trance are you looking to make? Detroit, Acid, Early BT style? There seems to be an expansion for anything you'd like. Take a listen on NI websites, the audio demos there really do give a good representation on what the packs are capable of.
