Loading a preset (here the Seldom Kit of Dark Pressure) I listen with joy to the beats that resonate through the room. Suddenly I want to change the delay settings in the automation of the open hihat. To my surprise I see in the modulation window that there are two automations, one for the beat delay and one for the metaverb. It's not clear which one ... See pic attached.

Q: Why must I guess? Why is there no indication for the right effect slot?

    A: ....

A small number for the fx slot would be useful.

i hear ya there especially when there are like 4 slots used, i often do have several automations per slot - mostly it's pretty easy to see which is which though based on the title...

it would be great to have numbers like derkarsten says though...have you feature requested this?

Electromood - are the automations in the picture listed in order of the tabs or in the order they are recorded?

Recorded, unfortunately. The example (Seldom Kit) in the picture is a pre-recorded preset, so I switched the first one (Beat Delay) with a Freq Shifter and recorded some Output > Mix, the automation curve ending up below the others. So, first tab, third curve.

Just a simple 1, 2, 3 or 4 before Output > Mix (or any other parameter) makes things a lot clearer don't you think?

I've sent a FR to NI today (one of zillion FR's).
