    Hello everyone,

I have a question to users of DDM4000..
Which cable would you suggest to make use of the MIDI functionality?
Right now, I have a cheap 'no name' cable and I can't force it to work with any version of traktor, but it works with ableton live perfectly..

I think about getting CME u2MIDI cable, is that a good choice?

If you can manage to have your mixer recognized and working in Live, technically, there is no obvious reason why it wouldn't work in Traktor.

Depending on the version of Traktor you are using, did you enable/select the correct MIDI interface Input in the configuration menu?

    Yes, I did that.

I am using traktor pro 1.2 and I choose "all ports" in MIDI configuration.. cable is recognised by traktor as 'USB Audio device", but there are no MIDI messages coming from it..

I tested the cable on a friend's pc and there was exactly the same situation - cable worked with Live, but didn't work with traktor.. it's beyond comprehension for me

    Hey,
I use CME u2MIDI cable to connect DDM4000 to traktor. On my PC, it's recognized as 'USB Audio device' and everything works fine. It's not the mixer, but the cable itself that should be seen by the system..

You have to choose "USB AUDIO DEVICE" in the Midi settings...
