Like above, I am layering drums and I was wondering if it is possible to EQ each one seperately. If so, I'm assuming your able to put compression (or any other FX2) on them as well. I have a feeling you can't do this, but never hurts to ask!:)

Just make your drum pattern with one sample (a bassdrum for example). Then copy the sound with events and replace the sample with another bassdrum. This means you can process each sound individually. Then set up an empty sound as insert and send your bassdrums to that insert sound. This means you can process the combination of bassdrums as one.

Say I had 4 bassdrums and sent them to Soundslot 5, this would mean that I'm taking up 5 slots just for a bassdrum?n:confused:

That's true. But usually I like all my drums in Group A so I can manage it more effectively.

Then resample the 4 bassdrums to one.

Don't make things harder than they really are. Work with what you've got.

exactly, they don't need to be any harder, peep game from lotuz until NI gets the basics in order, I'm sure they are fully aware now that to jump through such hoops is a workflow creative passion killer and will revamp the layering all together, nobody wants to excel at making things difficult so look foward to the next update.
    they're gonna make it right
